My stay here was nothing short of magical—a seamless blend of luxury, culture, and heartfelt service. The resort offers a tranquil escape from the busy world, yet remains conveniently close to the town’s cultural heart. From the moment we arrived, we were treated not like guests, but like family. The staff welcomed us with genuine smiles, a refreshing welcome drink, and a level of care that was deeply personal and sincere. The rooms are beautifully appointed, combining traditional Balinese design with modern comfort. I stayed in a suite overlooking the gardens, and every morning I woke up to birdsong. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom luxurious. One of the highlights of my stay was the infinity pool, surrounded by palm trees and open sky—it was pure bliss. Dining at the resort's restaurant was a daily delight. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with a menu that blended local flavors with international favorites. Breakfast was generous and varied, with the option to enjoy it poolside or in your room. But what truly sets The Alena Resort apart is the people. Every interaction—from the front desk to the drivers, the restaurant staff, and the housekeeping team—was warm, gracious, and infused with a spirit of hospitality that felt genuine and from the heart. We left The Alena Resort feeling deeply refreshed and emotionally connected to the place. It’s not just a hotel—it’s an experience. One I will remember always, and one I would recommend to anyone visiting Bali.

The staff,property, accommodations and overall experience. Standout staff, Dewi (restaurant and pool bar) she was a pleasure, a bright smile accommodating and knowledgeable. I must commend Resort manager Indira on leading a great staff. Also, sheq personally signed a birthday card addressed to me, and left a nice bouquet of flowers in the room. And the staff surprised me with a birthday song at my doorstep. Dessi (front desk), was most helpful in communicating with transportation for me with Gojek. Adi and Gustu were great! The shuttle service to Ubud center was a plus and any driver transporting us was top notch and professional. Unfortunately I cannot remember my 90 minute deep tissue massage therapists name, but it was one of the best I've had, and I'm a self proclaimed, massage receiving connoisseur. She was small in stature but had mighty strong hands! I think it'd be hard to be dissatisfied with the Pramana Experience. And that's all i have to say about that....

We stayed in the hotel for couple of nights. We accidentally found this hotel as a replacement for.previously canceled villa. We travel a lot incl. carrabeans, Europe, Africa and Asia. We stayed in various hotels even top luxury ones. This hotel is nice, good looking, and clean - really nothing to complain about. The one thing and the reason I'm writing this review is staff. I have never seen such greatly dedicated staff! They can organize everything - just to give you an example: the pool was already closed they said if.we are silent we can still use it, and they brought us drinks and meal for the kids to the pool! The level of engagement and kindness is crazy! The other thing that is surprisingly good is restaurant - the food is delicious! The breakfast is worth every penny- just to compare the quality is somewhere close to super expensive boutique hotels in Tulum. I really recommend staying in this hotel!

This is our 2nd visit to Alena, hospitality is at the best. It feels like home away from home. The resort is nestled in beautiful lush greenery, so highly recommended for relaxation and peace. The breakfast is delicious as always (they have expanded their menu from the last time we visited) they do have vegetarian options as well, they have started complimentary afternoon tea recently. we tried it twice and each time had delicious balinese snacks with the tea. We also tried the spa, both massage therapist were highly professional. so do try out the spa! Alena provides shuttle service to Ubud and the frequency is quite good. Overall the experience was great, Thank you Alena team for serving us the best

The place is beautiful! The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The restaurant serves really tasty food. We booked a massage in the spa, and it was great, very relaxing. The best of everything was the staff. They are very kind and they make you feel at home. We stayed there to celebrate our honeymoon, and knowing this, the staff made the experience super special! We are very grateful to them for all the attention received! It is easy to arrive at the city center hiring a cab with grab. Also, the resort has a shuttle service that is very useful. We will come back to celebrate our 5 years anniversary.
